Calista Education and Culture has been active in documenting the traditional knowledge of the Central Yup'ik people for more than 25 years.

These efforts, supported in part by grants from the National Science Foundation and guided by our board of Elders, have resulted in 20 major publications, a museum exhibit, and many public presentations.

    Awards ten competitive $5,000 scholarships each year to Alaska Native and American Indian students pursuing healthcare-related fields. Application period typically runs March 1–31.

    Bethel Native Corporation provides certain benefits only to BNC Shareholders and, in some cases, descendants. Families of deceased Shareholders can contact BNC for information about any current bereavement or burial assistance options.
